Many homes support large extended families with grandparents, aunts, uncles living under the same roof . The most responsible role within the family is traditionally of the eldest son, who has to care for his parents throughout his life. People choose what they want, and mix them with their bowls of rice. The Vietnamese eat with chopsticks, and raise their up off the table to eat. Family life and eating manner are just two of Vietnamese cultural features.
