The Internet is so far one of the greatest inventions of all time. The Internet, however, can be harmful to children and adults in quite a few ways. First and foremost, some people (including both children and adults) are getting addicted to the internet and thus causing problems with their interactions of friends and loved ones; they spend their free time surfing the Web instead of hanging out with friends and family members. In addition, hackers can create viruses that can get into your personal computer and ruin valuable data, for example, credit/debit card details are particularly vulnerable. Moreover, the internet contains age-inappropriate content like pornography. Unfortunately, such content can be accessed by children. This is the greatest threat to human life, especially the children. To sum up, besides many advantages, the Internet also has much negative side; therefore, use the internet for positive things so that we get a lot of benefits.
