Recently, organisers put on a huge concert called Live Earth. They warned to make everyone more aware of the dangers of climate change. The event consisted of a series of concerts staged in seven continents around the world. The concerts needed to be environmentally-friendly, so the organisers used biofuels to power the lights and used recycled car tyres to make the stage. They also provided recycling containers for people to dump their empty drink cans in. Over 100 musicians and celebrities took part in the live shows. They urged fans to take action against global warming by demanding more renewable energy, and by helping to conserve the rainforests. They explained that the Earth is under threat but stressed that it’s not too late to change things as long as we all act now.
